 Welcome to Vigoboom.com. The gallery of Louisiana artist, RK Rowell. Inspired by all things southern, these works display a strong personality and perspective; a unique sense of color, natural and easy composition. A mostly self taught artist, Rudy is influenced by primative, blues and folk art. He has naturally strong and expressive strokes and a distinctive style.  Using vintage photographs as reference material, the images can feel familiar and warm, to those who appreciate southern style, yet contemporary at the same time.
